At this local business, only 5 minutes from The Whittaker Inn, you can find great beer and exceptional service. Brokerage believes that flourshing communities are built aroung compelling gathering spaces, and they live up to that belief.
Lafayette Brewing Company
One of Indiana’s original craft brewers! At the Brew Co, as they're known locally, they've been serving up quality pub fare in the large family dining area & taproom since 1993. In addition to house brewed ales & lagers, they also offer cider, wine and liquor, and house brewed root beer. The 2nd floor features a large Beer Hall for private banquets and events.
People's Brewing Company
The People's Brewing Company provides high quality hand-crafted beer to the people of Lafayette and they're passionate about community leadership; from music, to cycling, to eco-friendly initiatives . They offer a taproom, kitchen, large beer garden, and carryout at the brewery with staff trained on the brewing process and beer styles.
Teays River Brewing and Public House
Teays River Brewing and Public House carries on the legacy of the Teays River that once ran through Lafayette, IN. The river is no longer flowing but the Teays Valley, now buried underground, serves as an aquifer to provide Lafayette with water.
Thieme & Wagner Bar
This nano-brewery is a tight-knit, family-owned business that was founded by German immigrants prior to the US prohibition. The business was rekindled in 2018, and still produces the original recipe of “Bock Beer” from the 1800’s.
Wildcat Creek Winery
Wildcat Creek Winery offers a selection of high quality dry, semi-dry, semi-sweet, and fruit wines utilizing the high quality crops from regional growers. Stop by to learn, taste, and experience Hoosier hospitality at its finest!

A sister restaurant to Sweet Revolution Bakery, this establishment is "revolutionizing" the traditional flavors of barbecued meat. Bold tastes and mouth-watering meats can be found at this local favorite in Historic Downtown Lafayette.
Triple XXX Family Restaurant
Triple XXX has served as a staple of the local community since 1929. This famous diner has even been visited by Guy Fieri from the Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. 8Eleven Bistro
The culinary anchor of the historic Union Club Hotel at Purdue University, 8Eleven celebrates the trailblazing tradition of two of NASA’s most daring aerospace programs, Gemini 8 and Apollo 11, as well as the missions’ command pilot, Purdue alum Neil Armstrong. Their menu showcases modern and approachable American dishes and traditional French favorites.
