The Inn

The Whittaker Inn was newly built in May 2019  and is located in West Lafayette, Indiana. 

Nestled within 25 beautiful wooded acres in the Wabash River Valley, The Whittaker has 13 spacious guest rooms, 2 premium suites, versatile gathering spaces, the on-site reservation restaurant, “The Whittaker Kitchen”* and complimentary parking for all guests. 

The Whittaker exterior pays homage to the traditional Midwestern farmhouse, while the interior is replete with modern amenities and elements of clean, contemporary design. 

Each of the 15 Whittaker guest rooms and suites are uniquely designed to reflect Andrew and Elizabeth’s passion for travel and experiencing other cultures. Inspired by different cities and countries, the rooms are decorated with original pieces of art and one-of-a-kind furnishings.

Just a few miles off I-65 (Exit 178) and directly off state road 43, The Whittaker is less than five miles from Purdue University and less than ten miles from the shops, dining and attractions of downtown Lafayette.

Directed by Chef Andrew, the on-site, state-of-the-art Whittaker Kitchen caters to guests with globally-influenced cuisine and inspired American fare. All Whittaker Inn room rates include daily made-to-order breakfast options with freshly prepared baked goods.

For professional or social gatherings, The Whittaker Inn offers several versatile common areas like The Gathering Room, Dining Room, Private Dining Room, Entertainment Room and P.L. Owens Boardroom. 

Customizable menu options are available for both professional and social gatherings; reservations are required for The Whittaker Kitchen*.
